About Me

My photo

About me - I'm a Christian (Pentecostal), Married to Wendy, two step children Thomas and Natalie, dog and rose-crested cockateel(Beauty). I've been a miniature hobbyist for over twenty years; I occasionally wargame at my local club or at home with friends. I set up my commission painting service in 2014, so I spend a lot of time painting!

Eye Candy - Infinity, Operation: Icestorm, Nomad's Alguaciles

It's been some time since I've updated this personal blog. A large proportion of my painting time has been concentrating on commission work. I haven't had much time to paint my own minis.

However, I was recently bitten by the Infinity bug. I love the minis, the background, the rules and the general hobby. So, I treated myself to the starter set - Operation: Icestorm

I have all the minis built and I've completed the initial airbrushing(I've even played through a couple of the missions from the game). I have to say Angel Giraldez, the studio painter for most of the Infinity models sets the bar very high. Some of my minis have been stripped several times; either because I didn't like the colour scheme or id rushed the finish. But I feel like these minis will help to push me as a painter again, which is great.

Anyway, enough of my waffle, lets show you some pics. This is my first fully completed(apart from the base) O:I mini, a Nomad Alguaciles.
